Mallabula Storm

It's been a while since I did any photography but last night I looked out of my back door to see this storm working it's way out to sea. I quickly jumped in the car and headed out to this spot which is about 2 minutes from home. By the time I got there it had started raining really heavily, biding my time in the car I waited until the rain had passed and quickly set up.

I got off about 5 shots and with the storm fading this was the only one with some decent strikes in it. It was very dark down there so it was hard to expose for the ambient so I painted the jetty with my torch - with no idea how much to paint I ended up lucky that it exposed it enough!
